A graduate of Heidelberg University (Dr. jur.) and New York University (M.C.J.), Dr. Martin Dürr is admitted in both Germany (Rechtsanwalt) and New York State (Attorney-at-Law). His areas of expertise include general corporate and business law, the establishment and structuring of legal entities and their operation and transformation. He advises on company mergers and acquisitions, the dissolution of entities and legal issues thereafter. He represents both companies and shareholders, officers, managing directors/board members and bankruptcy trustees and liquidators, both in and out of court.

In addition, Dr. Dürr acts both as counsel in the areas of ​​Banking and Capital Market Law as well as consultants’ malpractice cases, including litigation. He also advises in the area of ​​capital investments and banking law, encompassing brokers, founders and prospectus liability issues as well as the enforcement of resulting claims.

Other fields of expertise include international transactions (probate/inheritance law among other areas), in particular in matters relating to Germany and the USA. He also provides advice to Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs).
